Perimenopause & Menopause...

It’s a natural stage in life (men have an andropause too – think poor sleep, pot belly and moobs), even the NHS recommends diet and lifestyle changes but what will really work for you and your symptoms? Davina McCall, Liz Earle, Meg Matthews and others have all been fantastic at getting us all talking about the menopause and taking positive action to be heard.

You know about HRT but what about diet? Sleep? Exercise? Lifestyle? Our genetics? They are all important.

Do you want to understand what is going on in your body and what will really work for you?

You’ve been researching, looking for the answers and help you need to manage symptoms of perimenopause or post menopause naturally through nutrition and lifestyle changes. And now you’re even more confused. You’re feeling overwhelmed with information and you’ve still not found the solution. I get it.

Perhaps you are taking HRT but there are still things that aren’t fixed or you’re worried about what will happen if you stop taking HRT.

I want you to know that all the things you have learnt to accept as normal - fatigue, hot flushes, brain fog, joint pain, weight gain, hair loss, acne, headaches, constipation, the list goes on – are common but don’t have to be your normal. Nutrition and lifestyle changes can make a huge difference to how you feel. You really can be in control of your body and your mind and wake up feeling like one of those people who jumps out of bed in the morning and sings like Julie Andrews!

I know it takes a lot for us as women to even take the time to stop and think about what’s happening with our body and with our life. We are busy juggling work, home, kids, aging parents, our relationships. We don’t have the headspace or the time to take on something else and the prospect of planning and fitting in a new way of eating and living is overwhelming. You need something simple and straightforward that fits into your busy life.

I am passionate about empowering you with the knowledge, confidence and tools you need to make nutrition and lifestyle changes that allow you to take personal control of your health and wellbeing and have a happy menopause.

I am on a mission to help you look, feel and be your best.

Just some of the common menopause symptoms that you may be experiencing and nutrition can help you with...

I was suffering with being bloated and tired and was taking a lot of medication for heartburn and many other little niggles. I put it down to age. With Clare’s guidance and encouragement, I was able to make a lot of changes without ever feeling like it was a hardship. Everything Clare suggested was laid out clearly with a lot of good information. As a result after 5 weeks I had shed a few kgs, and although this was not the aim it was great to shed a few of the extra pounds I had been carrying and couldn’t shake. I had more energy. Now I feel healthier and leaner and more able to cope with life. I just fell so much happier.
